The renewal of subjectivity: the role of reflection, schemas, meaning formation [1]

Abstract: The article analyzes a topic related to a subjective, emotional view and attitude, thanks to which some people manage to see the true meaning of the observed situation and change their own position in relation to it. The topic is revealed by the example of two works by L.N. Tolstoy ("Confessions" and the novel "Resurrection"), theological reflections of St. Augustine and on the material of one of the cases of conciliatory justice.
